Im 52 and mad on music. I got into these guys thanks to Radcliffe & Macconie last year. I got my 3 daughters hooked and drove to the Manchester Academy last wek (March 4th). Our expectations were high and we managed to get pretty close to the front. The support guys were awesome, so good choice guys!! But no one could have prepared us for what we were about to experience. When Marcus was finally able to speak, after the awesome welcome the boys received, he was so humble, so stunned that so many had come to see them. His, and the boys humility was extraordinary, but not as extraordinary as the gig. Ive recently seem some big stadium bands (Chilli Peppers/Snow Patrol/U2) BUT and Marcus, this is for you - GET USED TO THAT KIND OF RECEPTION!!!!!! To get to see talent like this close to the start of a career has been an honour. And talent these guys have in abundance. So if you are considering going to see a concert, be prepared to be blown away. On CD the music is glorious, heartwarming, inspirational and a glorious collaboration of vocal and instrumental wizadry. But live, the love they have of their craft brings already staggering melodies and lyrics to life in a way I cant even begin to describe. Not only is their love of the music evident, but also their genuine love for each other that makes them transcend onto a totally different level. There are no ego's here and all I could do was smile, cheer and applaud a quite extraordinary evening. From me and my girls to Marcus and the boys my thanks. For the future, dont change and come back.
