I love the chord progression of this song, and the lyrics are also very powerful. There are so many messages in this bottle, it's hard to choose a name. I love the sense of hope and belonging.

 Bart isn't sure if Marcus is singing 'paint my spirit gold'.  That's pretty metaphorical (at best) or nonsensical.  To the Wang's ears, it sounds like he is saying, 'Bring my spirit low'.  That seems to fit in better with the rest of the words, suggesting a submissive posture.  Just his thoughts.  This song is fantastic.

Marcus's voice is innately beautiful, and musically all the boys are getting stronger and better, I think. The second album, when it's done, will be an absolute blinder! Lover of the Light, Whispers in the Dark, and this song are all magnificent. Gorgeous lyrics. To me this song is about trauma, humility... I kinda hope it remains 'Untitled', there's a nice poetry to that, and anyway sometimes life presents moments for which there are no words or titles...

What do you suppose inspired the lyrics to this song?

 

Someone posted a video from the Bowery Ballroom Show last month and I recoded the video and then recoded it to my iPod.  Fantastic work on the lyrics, how and where or is your memory that good?  Mine is not.

 The song has already been released as the b-side to 'The Cave' 7".  It's much easier to decipher in studio than live.

Isn't that song Winter Winds but on the 7" it is listed as "But My Heart Told My Head" ?

 

I am sorry I was thinking of an early single release not the current The Cave 7" single which does indeed have a song titled "Untitled".

Is there anyway to get a digital download of the song "untitled" studio version? I live in the US and all the UK sources i-tunes, etc. won't allow a download to the US.

 Of course there are various sites out there you can find the material not offered here in the US but none of them are, well I don't have to say it, but if you look on a torrent search site you might find something.

I happened to be watching televison very late Friday night and came across a show I think was titled "The Daily Fix." I'm always checking out new music acts when the two host's introduced a great new band doing an untitled/unrecorded song having it's debut on"The Fix" and introduced the guys. Recorded it for my daughter who was as excited to hear it as me.Great Song many of you have probably heard recently but was new to me. The show has been rebroadcast over the Easter weekend a few times. Do a search and check it out.They are the last group to perform on the program. Outstanding performers and musicians.
